Named by Money magazine as one of America's 200 best Certified Financial Planner® Practioners, Dr. Mary Ann Campbell, CFP® is a commited money educator and community leader.
An experienced on-air television and radio personality, Mary Ann has worked as a business and financial reporter, educator and interviewer. She has won national awards for her Money Magic ETV series on Arkansas public television and for her innovative teaching techniques. Arkansas Business noted her as one of the top 100 women in Arkansas.
After receiving a presidential appointment to chair the National Women's Business Council, Mary Ann worked with agency heads and congress members to improve small business opportunities. She is a founding member of both the Arkansas Jump$tart Coalition, which promotes financial literacy for youth, and the Arkansas Women's Forum, which is affiliated with the International Women's Forum.
Mary Ann earned her undergraduate degree from Ouachita University, her master's from Texas Women's University, and her certified financial planner certificate from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. She completed her Ph. D. in 2007 at Iowa State University and currently teaches personal and family finance in the Family and Consumer Sciences Department at the University of Central Arkansas.
Mary Ann's greatest joys are being a wife, mother, and especially a grandmother. Her hobbies include flower gardening and magic.
