BP Credit Card Increases Rewards
BP and Chase have launched the BP Rewards Visa, a new credit
card offering an upgrade to the rewards offered by the previous
BP Visa card. The new BP Visa Rewards is offering 5% rebates
on purchases at BP locations, 2% rebates on dining, airline,
auto rental and lodging purchases, and 1% rebates on any other
purchases. Previously BP was offering a 3% rebate on BP purchases
and a 1% rebate everywhere else.
In
addition to the increased rebate percentage, BP is now offering
the option of receiving either BP gift cards or cash back, where
previously only BP gift cards were offered. (Rewards can also
be used as donations to The Conservation Fund, which works to
protect America’s natural resources.)
Cardmembers
who apply during May and June will receive double rebates for
the first 60 days after their accounts are opened.
