Discover Card Announces Fall Get More Partners

Discover announced today its Fall 2006 “Get More” merchants–those offering a full 5% Cashback Bonus on purchases at their businesses when cardholders use Discover. Built around the theme “Get Set for Fall,” the merchants are associated with back to school purchases, including both apparel (Gap, Kohl’s, Famous Footwear, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, Linens ‘n Things, and Pier 1 Imports) and supplies (Dell, Office Depot, OfficeMax, and Staples). Tuition payments–from preschool to college–made with Discover will also get a 5% rebate.

The “Get Set for Fall” campaign includes purchases in July, August and September. Each quarter, Discover makes different “Get More” purchases eligible for 5% rebates, emphasizing purchases that tend to increase with the season. Next up: the “Make the Holidays More Entertaining” program, featuring a 5% Cashback Bonus on holiday spending categories such as music, books and restaurants from October through December. The Get More rebate program is free for all Discover cardholders.
