Delta and American Express Increase SkyMiles Bonuses

American Express and Delta Airlines have sweetened the bonus deals on their SkyMiles credit cards for customers who are regular card users. Holders of the Delta SkyMiles Gold Credit Card or the Delta SkyMiles Business Gold Credit Card can earn 5000 bonus miles for reaching $15,000 in eligible purchases, plus an additional 5000 bonus miles for reaching a total of $25,000 in eligible purchases. Holders of the Delta SkyMiles Credit Card or the Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card can earn 2500 bonus miles for reaching $10,000 in eligible purchases. And holders of the Delta SkyMiles Options Credit Card can earn 1000 bonus miles for reaching $5,000 in eligible purchases.

Holders of the Delta SkyMiles Platinum Credit Card or the Delta SkyMiles Platinum Business Credit Card can earn 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) for reaching $50,000 in eligible purchases. or 10,000 MQMs for reaching $25,000 in eligible purchases.

In addition, SkyMiles Platinum cardholders will get a free companion ticket upon yearly renewal of their cards, while SkyMiles Gold cardholders will get a $99 companion ticket.
