MasterCard Sweepstakes Gives Small Business Owners Chance for a Free Technology Makeover

MasterCard announced last week its 2006 “Get Wired” sweepstakes, which will give two winners a $50,000 technology makeover for their small businesses, including laptops, printers, a wireless network, Treo “smart phones” and a tech expert to get it all set up. Entry to the sweepstakes is based on the use of MasterCard small business credit cards and debit cards.

Small business cardholders who use their MasterCard business credit cards or debit cards through June 30 are automatically entered. Small business owners who use their MasterCard business cards via MasterCard’s contactless PayPass feature will receive two entries each time they use their cards. The “Get Wired” sweepstakes is part of a larger MasterCard program offering special discounts to its cardholders from certain MasterCard business partners, including computer services, travel services and more.
